Handling The Rifle

Before handling the rifle, make sure you become familiar with all the safety instructions presented in this brochure.

When you pick up the rifle, always check that it's unloaded by opening the bolt. Keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction, even when the rifle is not loaded. All firearms, loaded or unloaded, should be treated with extreme caution. Keep in mind that most accidents happen when owners handle a firearm that they thought was unloaded.

WARNING! Don't shoot unless you are absolutely sure of your target and what's beyond it. Remember that a rifle bullet has a range of over 8 kilometers (5 miles), and can kill or injure anything it hits within that distance.
